World’s Only is a biannual, limited edition zine about the space where art and music overlap.

Created by classical musician and writer Megan Clune, it features interviews with artists, musicians and composers about what makes them create and how they have navigated these seemingly precarious careers to end up, literally, the worlds only.

World’s Only Issue 2 sees an expansion of Issue 1 with a new design by David Boyce. “Dave and I have taken a really personal look at contemporary music and art. World’s Only Issue 2 is a collection of words and images we truly love” says Clune. Interviews from Japanese experimental pop band Open Reel Ensemble, video artist and self-taught classical composer Christina Vantzou, illustrious electronic R&B group Collarbones, avant-garde pianist and John Cage collaborator Margaret Leng Tan with the arresting photography of Sydney local Samuel Hodge come together to make an absorbing, inspiring publication.

Issue 1 (sold out) featured multi-disciplinary artist Christine Sun Kim, American born-Berlin based post-classical composer Dustin O’Halloran, London electronic sound artist Scanner, aka Robin Rimbaud (cover image) and cult post-punk guitarist, composer and mentor of many, Glenn Branca.
World’s Only is designed by emerging Sydney-based photographer and designer, Benjamin Chadbond.
